  2. The site is situated in Machilipatnam, a coastal city in Andhra Pradesh. The climate is hot and humid. The house is next to a railway crossing and the main facade is facing west. Entry to the house and windows(openings) are provided between those angular walls. To reduce the noise disturbance, and cut short the heat intake in the building, I played with angular walls with opening between them. I designed a court in the north side with windows opening into it, where the family can gather. additionally a staircase is taken to the terrace from the court making the court an active space.
